The idea of community is the blood that runs through our glorious city’s veins. Easily enough, it is also what keeps our shows’ heart beating. As people who have made it a priority to come be apart of the magical nights we call NYC shows; you know this more than anyone else. You live in NYC, you leave your job, run home to put on some swanky clothes, ride the subway with inspiring people to the LES and pat me on the back to say “we are here with you” when you walk through the doors of whatever venue we are playing at. Places like The Mercury Lounge and Rockwood Music Hall allows us to take in this city with all of our senses. The Mercury Lounge in particular is a music venue dedicate to NYC, music, and community. It is also one of the hubs for the world-class music family known as “Bowery Presents”. “Bowery Presents” books Mercury Lounge, Bowery Ballroom, Beacon Theatre, and Madison Square Garden. They have been a huge reason as to why NYC is the best place to hear live music. I am happy to say they have taken notice to the magic we make together at our shows and now they want our community to be a part of theirs!

They have graciously asked us to come back to play Mercury Lounge! Even though we were honored, we were also petrified at the idea of filling that place up again one month after our album release show, but a few close friends reminded us that we are not making these beautiful moments alone. So instead of booking an encore show at a small venue that cannot hold us, we said “Yes” to “Bowery Presents”!

Family, this is it. We call this city home, we run these streets everyday, and now an old soul has taken notice to the fact that we care deeply for it and what it represents. Join us August 11th at 9:30pm at The Mercury Lounge.
