Rockwood Music Hall – 10/24
Proud to be playing another CMJ event this Saturday night at my favorite music venue in New York City with the wonderful guys who are Jeff Campany, Ben Yaro, Shayna Zaid & The Catch, and more. First band goes on at 6pm, and I’m on at 9pm. Come on out and have ourselves a fun Saturday night!

When I first moved to the city, I would play shows at 3:00am in the middle of China Town to about 4 people at a time. During this time I said to Stacy, “Stacy, some day I’m going to play at that fancy Bowery Ballroom place and I’ll give you my word that more than 4 people will show up”. Fast forward almost 4 years later and here we are!!!!!
Never in my wildest dreams would I believe my first Bowery Show would be during the CMJ Music Marathon!
It’s time. We have been secretly shuffling around this city, playing in nice little clubs, walking to our nice jobs, watching the leaves spring, fall, die, and spring again for 3 years now. Let’s show a real New York City Music Hall what we got. If you have ever graced us with your presence before, we would love to have you out to celebrate what YOU have helped US do… MAKE MUSIC THAT MATTERS AND PLAY THAT MUSIC IN A CITY THAT MATTERS, IN VENUES THAT MATTER, AND DURING THE BEST TIME TO BE ALIVE.
Come take a deep breathe with us.
Bowery Ballroom was built just before the great depression. From the balcony, you can almost see the ghosts walking around. It’s going to be a magical night.

It was built in 1929. The building has seen all sorts of history (the collapse of the stock market, World War II, beatniks, the rise and fall of the neighborhood) before it was converted to a music venue in 1997.
On October 20th, I’ll be playing at that historic building. CMJ Music Marathon is in town, and I was asked to open for Ghost the Jukebox and Stand. It’s going to be awesome. It’s going to be fun. I hope to see all of you, my friends and family, singing along with the songs you know.
