Brooklyn. Country. Music.

You can be all kinds of emotional.

November 5th 2010, was my favorite show so far.  It was the closest thing to a family band that I will ever know.  I felt like the only thing we were missing was a pot luck dinner.  As I watched some of my closest friends sing their songs, I took in the beauty of the best venue in NYC.  Ken Rockwood and his team at Rockwood Music Hall encourages me every time we play there with the heart they put in the sound and vibe of their beautiful music hall.

We usually do not do things like this, but I just had to share the night with you in case you couldn’t make it. Here is a new song from a project I am working on with Brian Elmquist and a few others called “You Can Be All Kinds Of Emotional”.

In this picture and live recording is Kanene Pipkin on vocals, Jason Pipkin on the banjo, Dusty Brown on the harmonica, Rob Ritchie on the lap steel, Brian Elmquist and I with our microphones and guitars, Zack Lober on the upright bass, Brian Murphy on the piano, and Greg Ritchie on the drums. Feel free to spread/take this mp3 and send it to anyone you love.

Love,
Zach
