A Fateful Friday Night of Music and Prettiness
Clare and The Reasons
February 1st at 9:00pm Come to Rockwood Music Hall. Zach Williams will be playing with his favorite band in the city Clare and the Reasons. This music will remind you of all the good and pretty things in your life. This was the first band I ever saw as a resident of New York City. Stop by and listen to the wonderful music they make. To make it even more fun; Greg Ritchie who makes beautiful drum sounds with Zach Williams, also plays drums for Clare and The Reasons!
Another fantastic music making team that Zach will be playing with this Friday night is One Ring Zero. One Ring Zero has performed at music venues and cultural institutions including the Whitney Museum of Art, Central Park Summer Stage, Toronto’s Harbourfront Centre, Spring Scream in Taiwan, Era in Tokyo, New Morning in Paris, The Chicago World Music Festival, and the Fundacion Principe de Asturia in Spain. So come on out and get cultured. Word.

2 commentsA Thankyou/blog hug to the Knitting Factory Crowd
Family,
I was deeply moved by the community of people that came out to support us at a paid show last night. Thank you for singing, smiling and most of all dancing with us! Its not a terribly lucrative thing to have 5 band mates at a free show. These fancy “pay at door” shows help us in a HUGE way. Please know that we appriciate each one of you who purchased a ticket to come see us play instead of paying to go see a movie. Last night we had people fly in all the way from Ft. Lauderdale Florida just to see the show and fly back that night. We had another fella named Zach Williams come out to the show just because we have the same name. We had blood on the dance floor. We had several close friends bring out many of their close friends that had never seen the show. We had 2 “sit in” musicians help make it all happen. We had 2 authentic and caring managers. We had many friends that i consider family. This is what I am reffering to as “magic”. So, thankyou for coming out to help “make the magic”. We have 2 new songs in the works right now. Hopefully we will be playing them at Rock Wood Music Hall Dec. 22nd at the “Free CD Show”!

2 commentsThe Haven

Come see us at the beautiful community of people known as “The Haven“. This is the fellowship of creative people in NYC that is Zach’s blood vain. This is a weekly gathering that gets together every Monday night at 7:00pm at 21st and Park (Calvary Episcopal Church). If your an artist in NYC… you will love it. I promise.
The Band
The band is the true talent behind the music. With the lock down groove that can only be found in a brotherly love. The guitar player Rob and the drummer Greg keep the show on the tracks. The bass player Zack Lober is a fella that has been playing with the two brothers for the past 10 years. Eddy Bishai comes from one of the most musically celibrated families in the city and has the chops to back it up. All of the band member are very fancy and have their masters in music from places like NYU, Manhattan School of Music, and some strange music school in Canada. Joely Pittman is a southern bell that has a smile that will light up a room and a voice that will scare you if your not ready for it. Greg Ritchie: (drums) a rootsy and eccentric movement that will make you cry
Zack Lober: (Bass) a solid foundation of dark and light soul that can only be found in Canada
Rob Ritchie: (guitar) a driving ambition of creativity and tactfullness that should be boxed up and shipped to every home in the world
Eddie Bishai:(Piano) a banging river style piano that can only be truly experienced in a dark room
Joely Pittman: (vocals) a voice that can knock a wall down and harmonies that will remind you what home should feel like.
