Every now and then you get to do something you truly love.  January 31st at 8:45pm is going to be one of those nights.  The boys that make up “The Lion’s Share” are my best friends and Brian Elmquist was a groomsmen in my wedding. On top of all that Rockwood Music Hall is my favorite place to play in the Universe.  This will be the closest thing to having a family band that I will ever experience. Avatar Studios is where we will capture this magic. This is where “My Morning Jacket” recorded “Evil Urges”, where John Mayer recorded “Contenuum”, Where Herbie Hancock Recorded “River: The Joni Letters”, and the list goes on with Counting Crows, Neil Young, Muse, Ron Carter, Franz Ferdinand, Norah Jones, The Mars Volta, The Rolling Stones, and on and on to make up 400 Gold and Platinum albums recorded at Avatar over the past 40 years.

We are honored to record here.
We cannot wait to hear what this will sound like.
